About
You should be ashamed of reading this. Shame, shamey shame!
I'm a weird-ish guy. I write alternative history science fiction stories and publish them under a Creative Commons license, I've helped out with a multitude of communities and destroyed several in the process. In my early days on the internet, I was part of the EBWS (eBaum's World Sucks) Web Movement, which was a consolidation of 4Chan, SomethingAwful, Newgrounds, and other great sites to boycott eBaum's World for stealing content and not paying copyrighted artists.
So I've done a lot of fighting...but I've also developed a couple crappy games! I also published a book of poems! What kind of sick nonsense is this?!
I originally joined Linsux.org as a Linux Youth. I was using Ubuntu at the time, and wanted to see if I could make non-Linux users look as stupid as possible. The irony here is that I'm actually a prolific writer and also a quality bullshitter. I quickly rose the ranks and found myself agreeing with Trojan and earths on their views of why Linux is not a Jesus Operating System.
In other news, I am religiously unaffiliated. I've jumped around a bit, but I'm just fine with no religion at all now. Not even associating with Atheists, as they themselves can be fundamentalists with rules. Fuck it, you know?

So, what OS are you using at the moment Shane? I’d be interested to know! From a friend in Canada.

It’s really a hodge-podge of things for me. Sometimes I feel like going with a Unix system like FreeBSD. Other times I take a Linux distro for a spin. For video editing, I still rely on Windows and Sony Vegas unfortunately, but the recent release of OpenShot seems promising.
Ironically, I’ve been spending an awful lot of time on Ubuntu Karmic lately. It was a fairly solid release for me, and Lucid actually looks like it’ll shape up to be a nice release, too.
